Will Be Remembered

Posted on Monday 16 October 2006

I was very sad last week to find out that Snooker’s much loved Paul Hunter passed away, after a year-long battle with cancer he died 5 days before his 28th birthday. I didn’t even know he had been ill, so to find out he was already gone was a bit of a shock.

3 times Masters champ, Hunter, was a very prolific man for the sport, and was hugely influential in gaining a younger audience and getting a bit of glam for the aging profession. He will be sadly missed and i feel for his wife and newly born daughter.

His funeral is this Thursday in Leeds Parish Church, where his coffin will lie in wake for two days prior.

on the second note, maybe he lived a full life.
28 years may be worth a hundred and two, as it is really what you did in a lifetime.

    god bless his soul.
