Re. Freedom , I was in correspondence and emailing with him about the governments' denial of the freedom of the British people to have a referendum as promised on the "Lisbon Treaty". He trotted out the ludicrous government line that it was substantially different from the Constitution. So much for his committment to freedom. Also agree with you about the 28-day limit, Fergy. You may be interested to know that the time limit in Turkey is 7 days and that country has a much worse terrorist problem with the PKK than anything here. 30,000 killed in 20 years.
